This is a flame-free product with the same striking aesthetic as traditional charred Japanese timbers, and with enhanced durability and easy maintenance. Profile Dimensions: Each plank is 115mm wide and 15mm thick.
Durability: Thermally modified European aspen is naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage, with a 25+ year rot resistance rating.
Aesthetic Appeal: Distinctive dragon-scale pattern in black colour that imitates charred-look finish, one of the most unique on the market.
Lightweight: Very lightweight compared to hardwoods, simplifying installation.
Natural Oil Content: Contains natural oils for durability and colour richness, protecting from moisture and UV damage.
Maintenance: Unlike traditional flame-charred Yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban) timber, this product requires minimal upkeep; a touch-up of water-based semi-translucent black paint every 5 years is recommended to maintain its striking appearance.
