The safety placement guidelines below are based on EN 60335‑2‑53 and ICNIRP exposure limits to prevent heat stress and eye overexposure Inchem+15SDS Australia | Sauna & Wellness+15sauna.cz+15:

Chest & Back Heat‑Stress Limit (EN 60335‑2‑53)
Infrared cabins must not exceed 1 000 W/m² over a 20 × 20 cm area of the chest or back.
Back Radiator Use (380 W Carbon Panel)
Because the panel’s output is between 350 W and 500 W, it meets the maximum allowance for back-wall installation.
➤ Maximum distance from user’s back: 4 cm.
Front Radiator Use (380 W Carbon Panel)
The 380W output also qualifies this panel for safe use on the front wall (the standard allows up to 750 W here).
➤ Maintain at least 50 cm clearance between the upper body and the radiator.
Eye Safety & Vertical Positioning
To stay below the ICNIRP long-term eye exposure limit of 100 W/m², the radiator must be installed below eye level when seated.
